Hi all! Things have gotten a little hectic lately, but I promise I'll get better at blogging consistently. I just got back from a recent trip to Dallas w/Frank for work and had an amazing time. Hercules was babysat by 2 sweet neighbors and did great while we were away! I think he is finally realizing we aren't ditching him ever! Frank & I had a nice date night one night and he had a client event the next so I eagerly met up with my friend, Pita, and we went out for tapas at The Matador....my fav tapa was dessert, the churros con chocolate...just like I remember when I lived in Madrid!
I am happily decorating the house for the holidays, though I must admit the motivation (for me) comes in bursts! My inspiration this year was the seasonal favorite, cranberries, and below is one of my fav creations, the dining room table centerpiece with vases of various sizes. I had my girlfriends over for a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show viewing party with appetizers & wine earlier this month and we had a great time and I got the place decorated just in time luckily! Still kinda at a loss for seasonal cooking inspiration though...on that note, we are spending the holidays in Harlingen with my parents and definitely looking forward to it. Since Frank won't be home for the holidays this year, he headed up to NY last weekend and bagged a deer, he cooked up the venison tonight, too!
